ACS Held 2015 Daming Wuzhou & ACS Customer Conference

HONG KONG, 27 MARCH, 2015 – Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd., SEHK: 8210), Asia Pacific's top supplier and one of the world's top 3 suppliers of PC-linked smart card readers (Source: Frost & Sullivan), held its 2015 Daming Wuzhou & ACS Customer Conference, titled "New Perspectives, New Possibilities". The event was held from 25 to 27 March at the international convention center in Valley View HotSpring Resort Hotel, Conghua, Guangzhou, China.
In June, 2014, ACS acquired certain business assets from Shenzhen Daming Wuzhou City Smart Card Technology Company Limited ("DMWZ"), one of the major automatic fare collection (AFC) suppliers in China, providing hardware and all-in-one card solutions. Through the acquisition, ACS can have much better access to AFC customers, and strengthen its position as a provider of AFC solutions in China. ACS established TapToPay (Shenzhen) Ltd. to take over DMWZ's entire city smart card business in the country.
ACS invited to the conference around 100 participants that were mainly operators or transportation and city smart card companies from over 50 cities in China. The management introduced ACS and TapToPay, demonstrated products and systems, and shared successful global business cases with the guests. It is believed that through on-site presentations and explanations, customers will gain a clearer and more thorough understanding of both ACS and TapToPay’s products and businesses. The event fully addressed the theme of "New Perspectives, New Possibilities". ACS expects the conference to improve its relationship with customers and further initiate cooperation opportunities for AFC business ventures in transport, city smart card, e-purse, etc.
