ACS to Participate in Smart Card Alliance 2016 Payments Summit

HONG KONG, 1 April, 2016 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd., SEHK: 2086), Asia Pacific's top supplier and one of the world's top 3 suppliers of PC-linked smart card readers (Source: Frost & Sullivan), will be participating in Smart Card Alliance’s 2016 Payments Summit. The event will be on 4 to 7 April 2016, in Loews Royal Pacific, Orlando, Florida, USA.
The four-day event will feature plenary and general sessions on a wide range of topics, including EMV and mobile payments, transit payments, and FinTech (Financial Technology). Bob Merkert, ACS's President for the Americas, will moderate a discussion section, entitiled "Payment Cards and Devices". ACS will also be showcasing its payment products. These include: ACR123, an interactive contactless reader that can be integrated into existing POS systems to enable cashless payment; ACR1255, a smart card reader that combines NFC and Bluetooth technologies; and ACR890, a mobile smart card terminal that combines magnetic stripe, contact, and contactless technologies.
