ACS to Participate in the 19th China Expressway Informatization Seminar and Technical Products Expo

HONG KONG, 23 March 2017 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd., SEHK: 2086), Asia Pacific's top supplier and one of the world's top 3 suppliers of PC-linked smart card readers (Source: Frost & Sullivan), will exhibit in the 19th China Expressway Informatization Seminar and Technical Products Expo on 30-31 March 2017, at Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center in China. In addition to showcasing its latest products for intelligent transportation systems (ITS), ACS will give live demonstrations of highway ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) card top-up, balance checking, transaction records viewing and card renewal. This will enable visitors to fully experience the convenience and flexibility that ITS could bring. ACS will be in Booth A226, Hall 2. Visitors are invited to visit our booth!
This year's event is geared towards participants from all around the highway industry in China. ACS attaches great importance to the event and will exhibit its latest products including: ACR1255U-J1 Secure Bluetooth® NFC Reader, ACR3901U-S1 Secure Bluetooth® Contact Card Reader, ACR38U-ND PocketMate II mobile smart card reader, ACR35 Micro Payment Reader and ACR1256 Micro-Payment Reader. ACS will also demonstrate Beijing Sutong ETC "Easy Top-Up" Solution and Anhui ETC Mobile Top-Up Solution, both of which are mainly used for online reloading of ETC cards with a PC or mobile device.
So far ACS has helped transportation departments in Beijing, Anhui, Zhejiang, Shandong and Tianjin to solve difficulties in topping up ETC cards for hundreds of thousands of users. ETC national networking combined with the urgent need for urban intelligent transportation construction, is bound to promote ETC from simple toll collection applications to urban intelligent transportation-related sectors like smart parking, congestion charge, or traffic information collection and broadcast. Consequently, there will be rising needs of ETC card top-up. Those will increase potential for the ETC reloading market. To this end, ACS is now working with multiple provincial transport departments to develop a new generation of ETC solution using latest Bluetooth NFC card readers, which will contribute to the China expressway industry's acceleration into the era of mobile networking.
