ACR3801
Smart Card Reader

Specifically designed to cater to the US market, ACR3801 is a FIPS 201-compliant contact smart card reader utilizing the latest technology. With an elegant design and the capability to support high speed transactions, ACR3801 is ideal for a broad range of smart card solutions, including Public Identity Verification (PIV), Physical and Logical Access Control, Digital Signature, and Online Banking.

ACR3801 supports ISO 7816 Class A, B and C (5 V, 3 V, 1.8 V) smart cards and microprocessor cards with T=0 and T=1 protocol. It also supports a wide variety of memory cards in the market, including the Common Access Card (CAC), a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) smart card issued as standard identification for active DoD personnel and other non-DoD government employees.

A reader that does not compromise looks for performance, ACR3801 is a heavy-duty reader built for demanding smart card operations.

    • Cards with secure memory IC with password and authentication, including: AT88SC153, AT88SC1608
    • Cards with Intelligent 416-Bit EEPROM with internal PIN check, including: SLE4404
    • Cards with Security Logic with Application Zone, including: AT88SC101, AT88SC102, AT88SC1003
  • Supports PPS (Protocol and Parameters Selection)
