ACR122 - The world's First NFC & Felica Card Reader with compliance to CCID standard

Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS) proudly presents its newest contactless smart card reader -- ACR122, the world ’s First NFC Card Reader compliant to CCID standard with an optional ISO-7816-3 SAM slot.

The ACR122 is specially developed on the 13.56MHz contactless smart card (RFID) technology, supporting not only Mifare, ISO 14443 A and B cards but also NFC and FeliCa contactless technologies. Its proximity operating distance is up to 5 cm, depending on the type of contactless tag in use.

With CCID compliance, the ACR122 is ideal for both secure personal identity verification and online micro -payment transaction. Typical applications of the ACR122 include access control, e -payment, e-ticketing for events and mass transit, toll road fare collection, network authentication, logistics and supply chain management.

With ACR122, the existing service providers of systems using Felica cards can create new applications more readily. Currently, one of the most common applications for Felica contacless technology is automatic fare collection like those by Octopus in Hong Kong, EZ Link in Singapore and Pasmo in Japan.

In addition, the ACR122 is also available in module form, which is extremely easy to design-in giving you maximum design and development flexibility. Own casing, logo, color, size can all now be materialized.
