ACS Wins Award for Best Mobile Payment Product Experience in Golden Pine Awards

HONG KONG, 31 March 2015 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. ACS received the award for ACR35 NFC mobile smart card reader. ACR35 is a portable, stylish, simplified and versatile mobile smart card reader that is perfect for users who wish to transact securely while on the go.

ACR35 was selected from more than 30 entries. This card reader supports hi-coercivity and low-coercivity magnetic stripe cards conforming to ISO 7810/ISO 7811 specifications, ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, MIFARE cards, FeliCa cards, and ISO/IEC 18092 NFC tags. By combining magnetic stripe and NFC technologies, ACR35 provides its users the flexibility to use magnetic stripe cards and contact smart cards without the additional hardware costs.

ACR35 interacts with mobile devices via the standard 3.5 mm audio jack interface. It may be integrated into mobile environments running on iOS (versions 5.0 and above) and Android (versions 2.0 and above), seamlessly extending the usefulness of any mobile device. It delivers NFC reader functionality and mobility, by enabling even mobile devices without built-in NFC to support NFC and contactless applications. To secure transactions, ACR35 is capable of utilizing DUKPT key management system and AES-128 encryption algorithm.
