ACS Launches ACR39U-N1 PocketMate II

HONG KONG, 18 April, 2017 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd., SEHK: 2086), Asia Pacific's top supplier and one of the world's top 3 suppliers of PC-linked smart card readers (Source: Frost & Sullivan), launched ACR39U-N1 PocketMate II. This addition belongs to the next generation of ACS’s high-speed ACR39U smart card readers. It uses a standard USB Type-A connector and has the innovative PocketMate swivel design.
ACR39U-N1 is no larger than a USB stick, but is able to support full-sized contact smart cards with a simple swivel motion. Its USB Type A connector is a widely held standard that ensures compatibility with most devices. The reader is PC/SC and CCID-compliant.
ACR39U-N1 Pocketmate II is a plug and play reader which is easily integrated into different operating systems such as Windows®, Linux® and Mac OS®. In addition, it may be used on mobile devices running on Android™ versions 3.1 and later.
