ACS Launches ACR39U-ND PocketMate II

HONG KONG, 19 June, 2018 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. ACR39U-ND transforms into a reader for full-sized contact smart cards with a single swivel motion. It has a USB micro B connector, and can thus be used with most OTG-supported mobile devices. It was designed primarily to enable mobility, without sacrificing any of the functionality offered by a full-sized smart card reader. The ACR39U-ND in fact uses the ACR39 core, which has been proven suitable for highly demanding applications.
It supports ISO 7816 smart cards, memory cards, and microprocessor cards with T=0 and T=1 protocol. It is fully compliant with PC/SC and CCID specifications, and supports Windows®, Linux, and MAC OS®. It is suitable for in-transit use and may be used for e-government, e-healthcare, e-purse and loyalty, e-banking, PKI, and security applications.
