ACS Launches ACR900 Handheld EMV Terminal

HONG KONG, 02 November, 2018 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. ACR900 uses a 32-bit secure MCU core. It supports contact, contactless and magnetic stripe technologies, which makes it suitable for payment cards transitioning from magnetic stripe to more sophisticated technologies. It is compliant with the latest international standards specifically for payment, such as, EMV Levels 1 and 2, Visa payWave®, and Mastercard® Contactless. It is equipped with a thermal printer, to print receipts quickly. ACR900 is a compact handheld terminal especially suited for e-payment applications.
ACR900 has a large memory and multiple connectivity options, such as WDCMA, GPRS and Wi-Fi. . Aside from e-payment, it may be used for e-purse, e-government, healthcare, and transportation applications.
