ACS Launches ACR1251T USB Token NFC Reader II

The ACR1251T is the token version of the ACR1251U PC-linked NFC smart card reader with the 13.56 MHz contactless technology. Following the ACR122T, the token version of the world’s first CCID-compliant contactless reader - ACR122U, the ACR1251T offers more and advanced features. It is designed to support not only ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, MIFARE®, and four types of NFC tags, but also FeliCa Mobile Devices via NFC Peer-to-Peer (P2P) mode as well as extended APDU command feature.
The ACR1251T effectively supports post-deployment firmware update through remote firmware upgrade eliminating the need for additional hardware modification. Its PC/SC-compliance allows interoperability across different applications and platforms. With its portability and enhanced NFC features, the ACR1251T is also ideal for non-conventional NFC applications like Smart Posters for advertising and marketing purposes along with various NFC applications such as personal identity verification, network login, online banking and micropayment.
