ACS an Exhibitor in SCA 2013 Payments Summit

HONG KONG, 1 Feb, 2013 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd., SEHK: 8210), Asia Pacific's top supplier and one of the world's top 3 suppliers of PC-linked smart card readers (Source: Frost & Sullivan) will be presenting its payment solutions in Smart Card Alliance’s (SCA) 6th annual conference on payments this Feb 5 to 7, 2013. The event will be held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The three-day conference will give attendees access to plenary and track sessions on EMV, NFC, mobile, open-loop and other emerging payments. There will also be pre-conference workshops on Feb 4, focusing on EMV payment fundamentals; issues related to EMV certification, migration and implementation; and effects of EMV payments on NFC and mobile payments.
ACS is planning to exhibit the ACR31, a magstripe card reader with audio jack, for use with tablets and smart phones; the ACR123, a contactless payment terminal for MasterCard PayPass and Visa Paywave applications; the ACR89, a smart card reader with PIN-pad, enabling two-factor authentication; the ACR38U-I1, a pc-linked card reader in ipod casing; and the ACR38U Pocketmate, a PC/SC and CCID compliant reader. ACS will be located in Booth 207.
