  • ACS's ACR1281U contactless smart card reader obtains certification for German national e-ID program

With the introduction of its new electronic identity card scheme in November 2010, Germany has taken an important step towards providing its citizens with a standardized way to prove identity. One of the event’s main highlights was the 2-day conference, in which ACS representatives, Ms. Zoe Ko and Mr. Steven Tang, delivered speeches about contactless payments and two factor authentication, respectively.
