• ACS Launches ACR1255U-J1 Secure Bluetooth® NFC Smart Card Reader

  HONG KONG, 27 April, 2017 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. ACS was recognized under the Seamless Government Experience category for its entry, “Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.” The entry refers to an initiative launched by the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to bring a full spectrum of labor-related transactions online. In 2013, the UAE government’s Ministry of Labor launched an online platform where employers and employees can perform e-government transactions, such as applying for labor permits or submitting employee contracts.   HONG KONG, 04, May, 2017 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. Both readers feature a USB Type C connector, but have different form factors. ACR39U-UF Smart Card Reader comes in a palm-sized form factor, with a scratch-resistant matte finish. Meanwhile, ACR39U-NF PocketMate II is no bigger than a USB stick. It transforms into a reader for full-sized smart cards through a swivel motion. The USB Type C connector increases convenience for users because it can be inserted any side up into the USB port and can be plugged into mobile devices. The Type C connector is a less bulky alternative that works with other emerging standards, such as USB power delivery and USB 3.0 for faster processing speed.
