How long will it take to fully charge the reader?
It will take around 2 to 4hours to fully charge the device. When the battery becomes fully charged, LED 4th (rightmost) indicator will turn green.

Is it ok to connect/charge the ACR89 using a USB Power Adapter?
Yes. The USB-based adapter (for charging the ACR89 whenever it’s not connected to a computer) is available upon request. You can also buy a USB power adapter in the market provided it is 5V, 1A.

How do I know if I’ve successfully installed the ACR83 driver?
When you plug in the device, you can check in the Windows Device manager if the driver has been properly installed. The Device Manager should list ACR83 Smart Card Reader under Smart Card Readers.
