• How do I install the ACR122/ACR1222 driver to my system?

  USB devices (i.e. ACR122U, ACR122T and ACR1222L) use CCID drivers, therefore installation can be done through Windows Update. In case the Windows Update is not available, please download the driver from the ACS website: http://acs.com.hk/en/drivers/. Serial devices (i.e. ACR122S and ACR122L), require libraries for high-level programming, which are available from the ACS website: http://acs.com.hk/en/drivers/. For low-level programming, no drivers or libraries are needed. Lastly, the ACR1222U-J4 requires driver installation when changing the URL or updating the firmware. The CCID driver installation can be done through Windows Update.

  ACR1281U-C1 is a USB Dual Interface Smart Card Reader that can access both contact and contactless cards.
